Overview

This is our signature walking tour. This 3 hour walk through the downtown core will give you a really good idea of what life is like in the worlds most culturally diverse city. You will also have many opportunities to see some of the great sights that can be found in this big city. With our group size limited to a maximum of 10 guests, you will have the ability to ask all the questions you have about the city and the various things you can enjoy will in the city. We truly enjoy talking with our guests! On this tour, you will see some of the great historical and cultural sights in the city such as the CN Tower (admission not included), Union Station, the St. Lawrence Market, the city's waterfront, the Entertainment District, PATH, and the Rogers Centre to name just a few. Along the tour, you will hear some interesting stories of Toronto's history, culture and way of life. Make this tour one of the first things you do when visiting Toronto!

Meeting point

The tour begins at the southwest corner of King St. West, and Simcoe Street, beneath the electronic billboard for Roy Thomson Hall. The address for Roy Thomson Hall (the closest building to the starting point, is 60 Simcoe Street). Your guide will be holding a "Show me the City" sign.

End point

The tour ends at the St. Lawrence Market (93 Front Street East)

Entertainment District

We begin our tour in Toronto's Entertainment District, which is the home of Live Theatre, the Toronto International Film Festival, our symphony hall and countless restaurants.

CN Tower

We look up - way up to see the top of the tower, You will learn why the tower was built and some of the interesting things that have taken place on the tour, and interesting things to do in the tour

Harbourfront

Toronto's getaway spot on summer days. Harbourfront is almost 11km (7 miles) of lakefront walkways, with beautiful marinas, amphitheatres and attractions

The Path

To go from one part of the city to another, we hop inside the city'ss PATH network. The PATH is 30km/20 miles in length and is an underground city. It contains: 9 hotels, 4 grocery stores, 900 shops, and 500 places to eat. It is also connected to a sports arena, convention centre and the main train station.

Brookfield Place

Many tourists miss this beautiful gem in the centre of the city. We will go inside and learn about the history and architecture of this spectacular building

Rogers Centre

We stop outside Toronto's baseball stadium. You will learn how the roof opens and closes. You will also hear some of the stories of what has taken place in the stadium over the years.

Old Toronto

We work our way through Old Toronto. Passing Toronto's famous Flat Iron Building and Berczy Park, home of the city's Dog Fountain.

St. Lawrence Market

The St. Lawrence Market is ranked one of the top 10 food markets in the world It's history goes back over 150 years. We walk through the tour and we point out some of the most popular venues in the market
